Speaking Engagements

As a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and policy reform, I am dedicated to sharing my insights and experiences through speaking engagements. Whether at conferences, panels, or events, I focus on elevating the voices of young people, pushing for systemic change, and advocating for policies that create a better future for all.

My speaking topics range from education reform, youth employment, mental health, and leadership, to how young people can drive change in their communities. Through engaging, thought-provoking talks, I aim to inspire, inform, and empower both young people and decision-makers alike.

Here are some of the key events I have spoken at:

• Confederation of School Trusts Conference: Spoke alongside Dame Rachel de Souza, the Children’s Commissioner for England, to 2,000+ attendees. Discussed the challenges of a "one-size-fits-all" education system and the need for a curriculum that prepares young people for success in a changing world.

• Good Youth Employment Symposium: Presented the findings of the 2024 Youth Voice Census, highlighting young people’s views on education, work, and their future. Participated in a panel on employer engagement, focusing on how businesses and charities can create real opportunities for youth.

• North East Child Poverty Summit: Represented the voices of young people from the North East, advocating for changes to address poverty, safety, and opportunity. Called for urgent action to ensure every young person in the region has the chance to thrive.

• EU in the UK Youth Summit: Discussed the importance of alternative career paths in today’s rapidly changing labour market. Advocated for systems that support young people through education, apprenticeships, and hands-on learning.

• APPG for Children: Highlighted the need for youth involvement in policymaking, ensuring decisions reflect young people's diverse needs. Stressed that young people must lead policy development to build a sustainable and innovative future.

• APPG for Schools, Learning and Assessment: Represented the Edge Foundation in discussing the importance of technical education and skills development for the workforce. Advocated for a more integrated approach to education that prepares young people for future career paths.
